You might select colors based on their significance or you can select colors based on their warmth or coolness. You might also choose a hue depending on how it makes you feel or whether it is a favorite of yours. Select items in that color and place them firmly on display. Put items in that color prominently on your shelves, cabinets, tabletops, bed, couches, and other places. It can make a room feel fresher and newer, as well as infuse it with the aura of whatever color you select.
